Business Development Manager

Cairns Based Position

The Opportunity

Do you have a passion for the electrical and lighting market? Are you a sales professional with a talent for unearthing and converting business opportunities and building successful client relationships?  We're on the hunt for a dedicated Business Development Manager who can expand our operations within the Cairns and local regional markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Monitoring & Opportunity Identification: Keep a vigilant eye on the construction and electrical market to identify and convert suitable business opportunities for our company.
  • Direct Sales: Actively pursue direct sales opportunities, driving growth and revenue.
  • Relationship Management: Proactively maintain and enhance relationships with existing partners, while cultivating new relationships with prospective clients.
  • Client Engagement: Present compelling quotations and proposals to both new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Strategic Input: Contribute to key strategies for winning tenders and expressions of interest in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
  • Marketing Input: Proactively recommend innovative social media and marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
  • Process Innovation: Identify and implement new solutions to enhance and streamline our current processes, ensuring continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
